Unmatched requests in the flooring pilot
Requests that do not match the current automated pilot criteria are stored. They are not routed to businesses while matching remains flooring-only in GTA/Ontario.
Current pilot scope
Automated matching is limited to flooring requests that meet the pilot filters: valid contact, consent, GTA/Ontario geography, timing within 60 days, and a fit score of at least 70. Flooring budgets below CAD $2,500 are typically disqualified when a budget is supplied.
What happens to other requests
Non-flooring requests and requests outside the GTA/Ontario service area are still stored. They remain unmatched. They are not offered to participating businesses under the current v0.2 matching rules.
This keeps the pilot focused while data accumulates on acceptance and outcomes. Other categories listed in services.json are noted as pilot but are not automatically routed.
Why store unmatched requests
- To capture real demand signals that can inform future category expansion.
- To avoid discarding information that may become relevant if rules change.
- To keep the qualification and matching logic transparent.
No claim is made that stored unmatched requests will be routed later or that they represent sales opportunities today.
For businesses
Participating businesses define their own ICP. During the pilot, only qualifying flooring requests that match the stated criteria are routed exclusively. Response speed, quote quality and the customer’s decision still determine outcomes.
