Flooring pilot qualification thresholds

These are the filters currently applied to flooring requests in the GTA / Ontario pilot before a request can be routed as a qualified opportunity. They are not guarantees of a sale or acceptance.

Current flooring pilot rules

A flooring request can be treated as qualified when it meets all of the following:

  • Valid contact method — a reachable phone or email is provided.
  • Consent — the person has agreed to be contacted about the request.
  • Geography — the location is in the GTA or Ontario service area used for the pilot.
  • Timing — the stated need is within 60 days.
  • Score — the internal fit score reaches at least 70.
  • Budget filter — when a budget is supplied, amounts below CAD $2,500 are typically disqualified.

Requests that fail any of these filters are stored but remain unmatched. They are not routed to participating businesses under the current pilot rules.

What the thresholds do not mean

  • They do not guarantee a participating business will accept the opportunity.
  • They do not guarantee a quote will be accepted or a job will be completed.
  • They do not set pricing, deposits or project scope.
  • They can be adjusted as real outcome data is collected.

Participating businesses still decide whether to accept an offered opportunity, how quickly to respond, and whether the request fits their capacity and economics.

Why thresholds exist

The goal is to reduce time spent on requests that fall outside the service, geography, timing or economic criteria the business defined. A higher match quality is the value, not volume of raw inquiries.

For flooring businesses

Confirm your ICP against these rules

If your service area, minimum job size or timing window differs, state it clearly so only fitting requests are offered.

Frequently asked questions

Are these thresholds permanent?

No. They are the current pilot settings. They can change as acceptance rates and closed outcomes are observed.

What happens to a request that scores 65?

It is stored as unmatched and is not offered under the current flooring matching rules.

Does meeting the thresholds mean the customer will buy?

No. Meeting the thresholds only means the request is eligible to be offered. The business and the customer decide the rest.
